Freedom and Dreams
The Barun Nghe is a fertile forested valley on the norther shores of the Dreaming Sea. The region is dotted with small towns that have subsisted in the forests for centuries. They are often led by shamans who worship the small gods that long ago made pacts with the mortals who migrated into the valley. While not wealthy, the region was recently incorporated into the Prasad Empire. Traders prosper exporting rare herbs, luxury wood, decorative feather garments, and even some gold that is panned from the rivers that run out of the mountains.
